Daily, I am posting my favorite song from each EWF Album. It's been torture, selecting only one, but I continue on with Part 4. Be sure to see Part 1, 2 and 3 posts for prior years. ![]() 10/24/16 1993, Millennium "Two Hearts" In the later years, the ballads fulfilled my yearning for Vintage EWF. ![]() 10/25/16 1997, In the Name of Love "Cruising" Sophisticated soul! My favorite EWF Album Cover! ![]() 10/26/16 2003, The Promise "Where Do We Go From Here" In Maurice's book, "My Life With Earth Wind & Fire", he said that in the later years he should have released ballads appealing to the Adult Contemporary audience. His hindsight was 20-20. As EWF matured, so did their faithful audience. This is my least favorite album cover. ![]() 10/27/16 2005, Illumination "Pure Gold" One of the best songs from EWF in years. It has that EWF almighty groove and satisfying lyrical content ... Riches come and go - only Love is Pure Gold!" Maurice & Phillip together = Pure Magic! ![]() 10/28/16 2013, Now, Then & Forever This song was definitely the "Then". A ballad that takes you back to the classic sound of EWF. This album cover ranks near the top.
